The "Paws" have it!

The tension was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.  What started as a quick game of TROUBLE was turning into a slow, gutwrenching race to the finish.  John was inching closer and closer to victory as Noah, Demetri, and I did everything we could to prevent it.  Seriously, we were trying every strategy we knew to keep the victory crown off of Daddy's head!  Demetri and I were closing in on John...he was feeling our pressure.  He needed a "2" to place all of his pieces in the safezone.  Noah, Demetri and I started chanting as loud as we could, "NO TWO, NO TWO, NO TWO!!!!"  In a last ditch effort and from a place of pure desperation, John looked to our dog Happy for help.  As we chanted at the tops of our lungs, John took Happy's big, ol' bassett hound paw and clicked the dice dome...and, as fate would have it, the number 2 faced up!  A picture perfect finish!

So, John is going to bed tonight satisfied with wearing the TROUBLE victory crown.  It was a game filled with triumph and heartache, but the win landed in the hands of the rightful owner...or should I say PAW!?
