I was thinking of you today, as I do most days! :) I just want to thank you for being my Meredith. For me, your friendship is like a beautiful lake where I love to spend my time. When it's sunny, I like to lift my face to the warmth of the comfort and ease I feel when we are together. Being close to someone and going beyond any awkwardness is a rare thing in this life. We've had our stormy days at our lake. The winds have blown and the skies have grown gray...but, uncertainty has never been here.
You are precious to many and they also consider you precious in their lives. You touch many hearts with your gentle and encouraging spirit. But, you are my Meredith. Our vulnerabilities with each other have grown to be the strength of our friendship.
I want you to know that I appreciate the feeling of acceptance I sense from you. Although we have experienced growth as individuals, striving to find God's peace in our lives, we have joined our paths along the way and have journeyed together. I'm grateful for taking this walk with you...around our beautiful lake.
